Boy bands of the ’90s: the glitz, the glam, the matching outfits and spiky hair. They were certainly a product of the times, but they captivated audiences like no other. What was it like to be a member, and was it really all it’s cracked up to be? All these questions, and more, are sure to be answered in Investigation Discovery’s (ID) new docuseries Boy Band Confidential.
The docuseries is set to premiere on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 from 9-11 p.m. EST/PST. It will also be available to stream via HBO Max. According to a press release from Warner Bros., the docuseries will “reveal how the industry transformed young performers into marketable commodities while exposing untold stories of abuse, addiction, and financial manipulation.

Subscribers will also have access to HBO Max’s Basic plan with ads so they can stream the docuseries whenever they want. In short, this plan gives you access to two streaming libraries, saving users around $17 since you’re not buying subscriptions separately. Philo also offers users a seven-day free trial, so you can test out the bundle before deciding to subscribe.
Sling Watch on Sling BlueSling Blue is another option to watch the docuseries. The service costs $54.99 a month and includes 40-plus channels, including ID.
